Christmas in the Cloister Event in the Joy mead 4th December 2010

The annual christmas fair took place in the Joy Mead - Santa welcomed over 70 children, £600 worth of mulled was served, carols were sung to organ and brass, games were played and 11 stalls gave attendees the opportunity to complete the purchases of those final christmas presents. After a last minute flurry of snow Dorothy's little helpers did a great job clearing the venue and this ensured that maximum fun was enjoyed with minimum health & safety issues.
Happily another £580 was raised for the maintenance of the Joy Mead venue. Thank you to all contributors.
