A free house specialising in real ales and fine foods

A friendly local village pub specialising in quality ales and foods. Between three and four real ales are available every week to be enjoyed in the relaxed atmosphere of the stone flagged bar with its large inglenook fireplace.

Your hosts, Paul and Denise have run the Kings Arms for the last 11 years and take great pride in running this traditional English village pub. Both of them are involved in the local community with organising events in the Joymead gardens, weekly step classes in the Village Hall and Paul's special interest in local wildlife.

A traditional Northamptonshire skittle table is available in the skittle room to the side of the main bar. This is available for all to use and skittles league matches are held every other Thursday night.

The Kings Arms has been a main entry in The Good Pub Guide for the last 8 years and this, together with entries over this period also in The Good Beer Guide, The AA Guide to Best Pubs in Britain, The WHICH Guide to Britain's Best Pubs, and The Quiet Pint demonstrates a consistent level of quality.
